SALES ASSOCIATE

Position Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the perfect pair of eyewear to meet their needs, as well as providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide assistance with product selection and fitting of eyewear.

  • Explain and recommend specific products, services and promotions to customers.

  • Educate customers on the latest eyewear trends, technologies and features.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and attractive store environment.

  • Handle transactions, including cash, credit and debit card payments, and provide accurate change.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns or issues.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives.

  • Keep up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous retail sales or customer service experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of eyewear products, fitting, and lens technology is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills, including point-of-sale systems.

  • Must be able to speak any 2 languages, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or English.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Sunday, 10:30am to 09:00pm.

  • Transfer between our 3 branches in Mahkota Parade Mall, Bandar Baru Jasin, and Jonker Street.

  • Guaranteed 8 off-days per month, at employee's discretion.

Compensation:

  • Starting from RM1500/ month, finalised based on experience and performance during probation period.

BRANCH MANAGER

Position Description:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our eyewear store. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the store runs efficiently and profitably while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the eyewear store, including sales, inventory management, staffing, and customer service.

  • Hire, train, and supervise sales associates to ensure that they provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.

  • Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and optimize sales.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other managers and departments to achieve organisational objectives.

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Optician / Optometrist qualification is a huge plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the eyewear industry.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of eyewear products, fitting, and lens technology.

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

  • Must be able to speak any 2 languages, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or English.

REGISTERED OPTICIAN

Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Optician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, as well as providing technical expertise and advice on lenses, frames, and other optical products.

​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams using specialized equipment and software.

  • Help customers select and fit eyewear, including frames and lenses, based on their prescription, facial features, and lifestyle needs.

  • Assist customers in choosing appropriate lens coatings, tints, and other features.

  • Measure and record customers' pupillary distance and other measurements required for lens fabrication.

  • Verify prescriptions and ensure that the correct lenses are ordered and fitted for customers.

  • Fabricate, adjust, and repair eyewear as needed.

  • Provide technical expertise and advice to customers and team members on optical products, including frames, lenses, and coatings.

  • Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and technologies.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and orders.

  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a certified opticianry program or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in eyewear industry is a plus, but we extend a warm welcome to fresh graduates who are willing to learn.

  • Strong knowledge of lens technology, frame styles, and other optical products.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic computer skills, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

  • Must be able to speak any 2 languages, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or English.

Position Description:

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Optometrist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating visual disorders, and providing advice on eye health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams using specialized equipment and software to assess visual acuity, depth perception, color perception, and other visual functions.

  • Diagnose and treat visual disorders, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia.

  • Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids to improve patients' vision.

  • Provide advice and recommendations on eye health and safety, including nutrition, hygiene, and protection from environmental hazards.

  • Identify and manage eye diseases and conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.

  • Refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed for further evaluation and treatment.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical histories.

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.

Qualifications:

  • Optometry degree from an accredited school or college of optometry.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an optometrist.

  • Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and visual function.
